Center Of Hope For God’s Children
Day Care Services
We are blessed to serve fifteen differently-abled children from nearby villages, providing them with education, care, and opportunities for personal growth. Our day care program nurtures their abilities and empowers them through various activities, including vocational training, manual work, cleaning, farming, and engaging indoor and outdoor games.
With love and patience, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where each child can learn, develop essential skills, and experience the joy of meaningful work and play. Our mission is to help them grow with dignity, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the community.
Non-Formal Education
In the nearby villages, many children are unable to attend school due to a lack of parental support, unawareness of the importance of education, financial difficulties, and the long distance to the nearest school.
To bridge this gap, we have established three non-formal education centers across three villages. These centers provide children with essential learning opportunities, helping them acquire knowledge, develop skills, and build a foundation for a brighter future. Through our dedicated efforts, we strive to instil the value of education and empower them to overcome barriers, ensuring that no child is left behind.

Self-Employment
Tailoring class
Currently, 63 students are enrolled in our one-year tailoring program at Makayili and Juasi. These dedicated students attend regularly, learning essential tailoring skills that will empower them to become self-reliant and financially independent. Through hands-on training, they gain expertise in stitching, designing, and equipping them with valuable skills for future employment or entrepreneurship. Our goal is to provide them with not just technical knowledge but also confidence and opportunities for a better future.
Home Visits for Need Assessment
Home visits play a vital role in understanding the real needs of the people we serve. By personally visiting families, we are able to:
- Identify and recognize their various needs, enabling us to provide more effective support.
- Learn their culture and language, fostering deeper connections and mutual respect.
- Strengthen our mission, as interactions during visits help us expand and establish our purpose in the community.
- Build trust and relationships, encouraging people to seek guidance, advice, and support from us.
- Inspire community involvement, as our neighbors often become benefactors, contributing to and supporting our mission.
Through these visits, we bring not only assistance but also compassion, understanding, and hope to those in need.
Health Care Services
Our commitment to community health is reflected in the various initiatives we undertake to ensure the well-being of those we serve:
- Health Screening & Education – In collaboration with the Ghana Health Service, we conduct regular health screenings and awareness programs in the villages, helping people detect and prevent illnesses early.
- Medical Support & Accommodation – We provide shelter and assistance to those in urgent need of medical attention and treatment, ensuring they receive the care they require.Learn their culture and language, fostering deeper connections and mutual respect.
- Empowering Health Decisions – We guide individuals to make informed choices about their health, encouraging them to take responsibility for their well-being with confidence.
Through these efforts, we strive to build a healthier and more informed community, where every individual has access to care, knowledge, and support.
Home Care Services
Our Home Care Program is dedicated to providing compassionate support to the sick and bedridden in our communities. Through this initiative, we:
- Provide direct home care to those who are unable to care for themselves due to illness or disability.
- Facilitate medical treatment by assisting individuals in accessing healthcare services with the help of nearby clinics.
- Identify and regularly visit patients in villages, ensuring they receive ongoing care, comfort, and support.
By extending our care beyond medical facilities, we bring healing, hope, and dignity to those in need, fostering a community of love and service.
Parish Ministry and Pastoral Care
Our Parish Ministry and Pastoral Care are dedicated to nurturing the spiritual life of our community through various faith-centered services:
- Preparation for Penitential Services – We help parishioners prepare spiritually for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, fostering a deeper connection with God.
- Holy Communion for the Sick – We distribute the Eucharist to the sick and homebound, ensuring they remain spiritually nourished and connected to the Church.
- Participation in Funerals and Baptisms – We support families in times of joy and sorrow, attending funerals to offer comfort and baptismal ceremonies to celebrate new life in Christ.
- Guidance for Mass Servers – We mentor and assist altar servers, helping them grow in faith and service to the Church.
Through these pastoral efforts, we strengthen the faith of our community, bringing Christ’s love and presence to all.
